PARLIAMENT WRAP
– In my Members Statement this week I highlighted the wonderful women of our electorate which were celebrated at my International Women’s Day event last week. I gave a shout to the Rotary Club of Williamstown for their 75th anniversary. I also lent my support to Altona East Phoenix Soccer Club and Newport Storm FC with their petitions to council to upgrade their facilities.
– As the Minister for Local Government I was delighted to chair the first Local Government mayoral panel for the year.
– I met with the principal of Williamstown North Primary School, Richard Buckingham to discuss the issues important to the school.
– I along with my parliamentary colleagues, got our annual flu shot inside Parliament House on Wednesday, in time for the upcoming season.
– Pumbah the dingo visited Parliament for plenty of pats and to highlight the work of the Australian Dingo Foundation.
